Between 3 – 21 December, Corul Madrigal, conducted by Anna Ungureanu, gave 9 performances in 7 Romanian cities: Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu, Iași, Botoșani, Bucharest and Craiova, attended by 15.100 audience members. In total, 2.831 children from Cantus Mundi choirs joined Corul Madrigal on stage, participating in carol singing with the audience.

The tour featured three different artistic concepts: „Madrigal: Crăciunul florilor”, „MADRIGAL CHRISTMAS mood” and the large-scale „Madrigal de Crăciun | Două Concerte într-un singur Spectacol”. The repertoires brought together traditional Romanian carols, Byzantine music, works from the Western Christmas repertoire and stylistically adapted international pieces.

The performances featured stage design, video projections and LIVE graphics created in real time, conceived by Vladimir Turturica, alongside lighting design and stage technology adapted to the performance venues.

Corul Madrigal’s creative team comprised:
