Corul Național de Cameră „Madrigal – Marin Constantin” has launched, through Programul Național Cantus Mundi, the publishing project „Muzica pentru toți – Integrarea și incluziunea socială a copiilor și tinerilor cu cerințe educaționale speciale prin intermediul muzicii”.
The volume „Muzica pentru toți” supports conductors and teachers with an extensive component on methods used in education, particularly those concerning relationships within a choral or musical group, with the aim of maintaining a space dedicated to the harmonious development of all children, regardless of their educational needs. The publication also introduces an innovative element by proposing a self-reflective component focused on self-knowledge, through which educators can strengthen the vocation that first inspired them to teach.
„Conductors of children’s choirs have an extremely complex and important mission – they shape people, build communities, touch souls and write stories in the lives of those reached by music. This is why interaction between children and their conductor is so important: it is also a connection that is constantly evolving and needs careful, continuous nurturing. This guide aims to make the most of that relationship by building and strengthening a harmonious environment in which every child can fulfil their potential, feel safe and develop healthily, so they can fully enjoy one of the most beautiful experiences – singing alongside their friends and fellow choir members” said Emil Pantelimon, Manager, Corul Național de Cameră „Madrigal – Marin Constantin”
„Muzica pentru toți” highlights the essential principles of integration and inclusion through culture, through which any child can fulfil their potential when interacting in a suitable educational environment, regardless of physical or psychological limitations or constraints. These are the principles on which Programul Național Cantus Mundi was founded, Romania’s largest movement for communication and integration of children through music, which promotes acceptance, diversity and tolerance in all its activities and events.
The publishing project „Muzica pentru toți – Integrarea și incluziunea socială a copiilor și tinerilor cu cerințe educaționale speciale prin intermediul muzicii” is initiated and implemented by Corul Național de Cameră „Madrigal – Marin Constantin” through Programul Național Cantus Mundi, in partnership with Biblioteca Centrală Universitară „Carol I” and Inspectoratul Școlar Județean Iași.
The project is co-funded by Administrația Fondului Cultural Național (AFCN)*.
