Laurențiu Midvichi

The painter Laurențiu Midvichi exhibits recent works at the “Madrigal 60” Gallery, created during his artistic residency in the world of the Madrigal Choir’s rehearsals and concerts, alongside selected works from his personal collection. With an extensive exhibition history encompassing over 20 solo exhibitions in Romania and abroad, Laurențiu Midvichi continually seeks ways to translate the energy emanating from matter onto canvas. “In the apparent chaos of breaking the usual bonds of form, Laurențiu Midvichi conceals an overwhelming imaginative world, creating new perspectives, worlds and ways of living. It is like an unusual story that calls to be read, especially by lovers of freedom and those genuinely seeking out unexplored areas of artistic language” – Volodia Macovei, journalist and writer.
