Dan Palade

The artist Dan Palade will exhibit recent works at the “Madrigal 60” Gallery, created during his artistic residency at rehearsals of the Madrigal Choir, alongside selected works from his personal collection.

Featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, Dan Palade’s works have an aesthetic influenced by the Russian avant-garde, which played an important role in his professional development. The concepts he draws on reveal a mature artistic vision of twentieth-century modernism. A versatile artist, Dan Palade succeeds in using all visual media to express his vision in well-structured forms, with graphic, almost architectural angles. He constructs symbolic content through combinations of textures, textile supports or paper collage, pigments laid in relief or brushstrokes layered over a background that brings a finely tuned chromatic resonance.
